My goal is to provide a space where you can feel heard without judgment. I believe therapy is not about having all the answers, instead it is about being comfortable in uncertainty. I strive to create an environment where you can show up as your authentic self. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward greater resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.
As a mental health counselor, I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, self-esteem concerns, and burnout. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply feeling overwhelmed, we’ll work together to better understand your experiences and develop practical tools that support lasting change.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I draw from evidence-based practices including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and person-centered therapy to create a treatment plan that fits your goals and values. In this collaboration I believe it is important to lead with humility in recognizing the unique backgrounds, cultures, and experiences that everyone brings to therapy.
I initially started working in mental health at a residential facility for Autistic adolescents utilizing ABA therapy. From there, I continued to work with Autistic adolescents at a day clinic specializing in Relationship Development Intervention (RDI).
While in Graduate school I had the opportunity to work at a private practice specializing in working with neurodivergent adults and adults with dissociative identity disorder. I finished out school working with veterans at a VA clinic where I conducted individual therapy and facilitated both PTSD and Coping skills groups.
