As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am deeply committed to the belief that healing and self-growth are profound acts of self-love, serving as the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves and those around us. It is an honor and privilege to guide my clients on their healing journeys, with a special focus on medication management for children and adolescents navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My treatment philosophy centers on meeting individuals where they are, fostering safety, and collaborating to achieve holistic wellness.

With over 20 years of experience in mental health and wellness, I have developed a comprehensive approach that integrates medication management with therapy, nutrition, and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). My expertise in medication management is tailored to support young clients with ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and trauma, ensuring personalized care that optimizes their path to wellness. I am dedicated to creating meaningful connections, making the healing journey less isolating and more comforting for clients and their families.

My perspective is shaped by unique personal experiences. As a mother of three in a neurodiverse family, I have lived experience with sensory processing disorder, anxiety, and ADHD, fueling my passion for working with children and families. My recent work at Children’s Minnesota on their inpatient mental health unit, combined with extensive clinical rotations with child and adolescent clients, has deepened my expertise in addressing the unique needs of young people.

As a combat veteran of the United States Army, having served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and an adoptee who navigated the foster care system until age seven, I bring empathy and understanding to my work with veterans, military personnel, adoptees, and their families. These experiences inform my ability to support clients through complex challenges with compassion and insight.
