Rebeca Gendler, MPS, LADC, Post-Master’s Fellow

Hello and welcome! I’m Rebeca, and I’m so happy you’re here.

Life can bring us some tough challenges, and it’s not always easy to navigate them on our own. Sometimes the path to therapy is clear—whether you’re navigating a major life change, grappling with loss, trauma, or noticing patterns that don’t serve you. Sometimes the path is not clear, and you might be feeling curious, stuck, or overwhelmed by the broader issues of our time, like climate change or economic uncertainty. No matter where you find yourself, I want you to know that there is hope for meaningful and lasting change.

My approach is all about offering a warm, supportive space where you can feel truly understood. We’ll work together to gently uncover and address the issues that might be holding you back. In our sessions, your pain is welcomed with empathy and care, and we’ll work to transform it into a source of growth and strength. My therapeutic methods blend narrative therapy, existential therapy, and person-centered therapy while also incorporating aspects of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness based perspectives -all tailored to help you gain clarity and find a path forward.

I understand that our personal struggles don’t exist in isolation, so our work will also honor the social, economic, and environmental factors that shape your experiences. I’m committed to cultural sensitivity and responsiveness, and I warmly welcome discussions about power and identity as part of our journey together.
